Location: Annandale is located in Wright County in Central Minnesota, 25 minutes southeast of St. Cloud and 45 minutes west of the Twin Cities.

Schools
Annandale High School is grade 9 – 12, Junior High grades 5 – 8, grade school K – 4, and a new elementary school. Average enrollment per class is 145 students. Sports and extra-curricular activities are an integral part of it’s program.

Lakes
Pleasant Lake is located within the city limits of Annandale. It is a 628 acre lake that is known for excellent bass, sunfish, crappie, northern and walleye fishing. There are 26 lakes within a 10 mile radius of Annandale, including Lake Sylvia, Clearwater Lake, and Lake John.

What to do?

Golf
Southbrook Golf Course is an excellent 18 hole golf course located within the city limits, along with a housing development of single family homes, twin homes and retirement homes. The course has an excellent layout for the convenience of all ages for golfing. Whispering Pines Golf Course is located about 2 miles east of Annandale and is another excellent 18 hole course. Albion Ridges Golf Course is located about 6 miles southeast of Annandale and has 27 holes.
Hunting
Wright County has excellent deer, duck and goose hunting. It also has seasons for pheasants, and turkey hunting.
Snowmobiling
The Annandale Snowmobile Club sponsors many miles of trails in and around Wright County, connecting to Hennepin, Sherburne, Stearns and Meeker Counties.
Events
Annandale has a pavilion next to Pleasant Lake in the Floyd G Johnston Park, which hosts many events during the year, such as family reunions, graduation parties, wedding receptions, etc. The annual Triathlon (which consists of worldwide entries) is also hosted in this park each July.

Annual Celebration

Annandale sponsors an annual July 4th celebration and parade which runs for four days. Events include carnival rides, a huge parade (the oldest parade in the state), a Chili Cook-Off sponsored by the Chamber, and an annual Miss Annandale pageant.
